I have been inline skating for a long time, since back in the Rollerblade Lightning TRS days. Most people probably don’t even know what those are! If you do know what those are you must know I am pretty old – 45!As I got older the stunt skating and hockey faded and I became more of a recreation skater, mostly skating to exercise my dog. My dog used to love to pull and run alongside as I skated but as she aged she didn’t require that level of exercise, so basically I haven’t skated in about 4 years.I recently rescued a dog and figured skating would once again be a great source of exercise so I laced up my current skates, Solomon, no I still don’t have the 90’s Lighting TRS in case you were wondering, and hit the street. The problem was my skates were killing my feet and I couldn’t go very far without loosening them. I figured there had to be a new skate that had good performance and was also comfortable. I started to do some research and found these. To be honest I used to ski K2 SLR skis back in the day so I have always been a K2 fan so I was excited to try these.I have to say these skates are amazing! I was debating if I really needed the BOA system but I am glad a spent a little extra for it. Skates go on and off super-fast and easy! These skates are very comfortable, the most comfortable I have ever wore! They are also very responsive, I really don’t feel a massive difference in control, from my previous skates. I really recommend these they are fantastic.
