The good: Material and zippers seemed to hold up well. Did three flights, each with one connection and no sign of damage.The Bad: The capacity for 2 pairs of skis and one pair of boots is questionable. My skis are 179 and 183 in length and I ordered the 200 cm bag. To fit both skis and boots I had to stager and remove the brakes. Which meant I had to pack tools and tinker with my skis between flights. This didn’t ruin the trip by any means but kindav annoying when your on vacation. Also, the bag does have padding, but it’s minimal. Maybe a couple mm of some squishy material. It also has some rigid support, but it exists on only 1/3 of the bag length. Not sure what that does. Once all the gear was packed and strapped down tightly, the bag was quite flimsy.Keep in mind: Most airlines have ridiculous charges when bags are over 50 lbs. I was able to make that weight but there was no room for other gear other than skis, boots, and poles. This is nothing against the bag, but something to keep in mind if your considering and all-in-one ski/boot bag for 2 pairs of skis.Bottom line: If both of your skis are lightweight, <100mm waist, non-twin tip, and you don’t care about them getting banged up by airline baggage handling, then maybe go for it. However, IMHO that criteria does not justify the cost of the bag.If you want to travel with your skis and take care about your gear, get a hard case.Nice bag with lots of space. Big enough for 6 pairs of XC skis and poles.This is absolutely worth the money if you're looking to protect your investment. I was able to fit my 184cm skis, 26.5 boots, poles, a helmet, gloves, goggles, change of clothing and jacket - with room to spare! Love the design of this bag and also the protection it provides my car by keeping moisture inside the bag on the way home from the slopes.Looking forward to traveling by air with this beautiful bag to protect my equipment. I'll update this review once I've done so!Highly recommend this specific bag as it's well made, rolls smoothly, and has excellent capacity.I have not used it yet but quality seems legitI purchased this to carry my surf casting rods and it works great. Due to its length it can be a bit to move around.Perfect ski bag. Holds everything I need for every trip I could ever make.The wheels on the roller ski bag do not work very well. I was literally dragging the bag through the airports.I called Dakine twice and spoke to Customer service. They were going to speak to their Engineering department and get back to me. I never heard from them. Its been over a week. Maybe wd40 would work, but I did not want to spray anything on the wheels until I heard back. Im very disappointed in the product and the support that I get from Dakine. Stay away from this expensive productfirst travel with it worked fine.
